Outside a Holiday KTV in 西門町. This KTV chain seemed to be pretty popular in Taipei - huge lines and crowds streaming out of the doors and into the sidewalks. In case you aren't aware, KTV is "Karaoke TV" and is a very unique form of entertainment. People (well, technically groups of people) pay up to $800 NTD (that's about $25 USD) per hour to sit in a private room, pick random karaoke tunes, and sing along with them all night long. Here's a decent summary of what KTV actually means to people here.
