Back to 師大 and the campus. Again, just like 台大, the prominence of English text is sometimes overwhelming! I didn't know what to make of it at the time, to be honest. It felt like I wasn't even in a different country sometimes. My understanding now is that English is SUCH a big part of practical life - everyone in Taiwan growing up with all this English text inevitably learns to read it at some level.
