A rainy city scene in Taipei's 信義 (Xìn-yì) district. Almost all of Taipei looks like this in some ways - 10+ floor pastel-colored buildings consisting of residential lofts above local businesses and big-name corporate chains below. You can see English all over the place too - on the street signs, as the numbers, on advertisements... check out the row of scooters parked right outside the McDonald's though.
