Curtis Fuller punched, poked and pummeled the baseball last week and today he garnered a majority of the votes for the Sub League 2 Player of the Week award.
The Wilmerding Chill third baseman slashed out a .542 average with 13 hits in 24 at-bats, 1 home run and 4 RBIs.
This year Fuller has hit at a .308 pace and produced 38 RBIs, 2 home runs and scored 32 runs.

 | Monday, June 30th, 2014: Player of the Week Trophy to Silva
Silva swung a blistering bat last week for the Wabasha Bullies, rapping out 17 hits in 34 at-bats against Wabasha opponents to propel himself to the Sub League 1 Player of the Week Award.
Whenever the first baseman hit the ball, he hit it with authority. The 19-year-old racked up a .500 batting average (17-34) with no home runs, 5 RBIs and 8 runs scored.
This year Silva has hit 7 home runs and posted a .396 batting average.

 | Saturday, June 28th, 2014: Rosales Holds Shreveport Scoreless
After his 3-0 shutout win against the Bandits, Miguel Rosales said, "I went out there to try and eat up innings and help out our bullpen. I felt I had my good stuff... and it turned out my command was solid and my breaking balls were good."
They were better than good as the Guerilla pitcher put up 7 strikeouts, surrendered 1 walk, allowed 4 hits and kept the bullpen phone quiet all day long.
This season Rosales has crafted a 6-5 mark with a 2.87 ERA in 100.1 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .257 against him and he has 48 strikeouts.
