Dan Mack slapped, slashed and slugged the baseball all over Sub League 2 ballparks to pull in a majority of the votes for the Outstanding Hitter Award for 2019.
The left fielder for Stockton put up a .381 average as he pounded out 82 hits, 18 doubles, 2 triples, 5 home runs, 35 RBIs and scored 40 runs.
For being named the SL2's best batter Mack will be honored at the SION Baseball Writers awards banquet this weekend.

 | Monday, July 8th, 2019: Sánchez Rewarded with 2019 SL1 Outstanding Hitter Award
Pepe Sánchez of Ashville was a smashing success this year, winning the Outstanding Hitter Award in the Sub League 1.
He rattled fences and pitchers as he banged out a .385 average, logging 84 hits, 5 home runs, 32 RBIs and scoring 38 runs.
This weekend Sánchez will be honored by the SION Baseball Writers Association at its annual awards dinner.

 | Sunday, July 7th, 2019: Sky Hawks Reliever Wins 2019 Outstanding Pitcher Award
A bullpen specialist has won the 2019 Sub League 2 Outstanding Pitcher Award. The top votegetter was Matt Murphy of the Fremont Sky Hawks, who finished the season with 16 saves in 17 save opportunities.
He had 4 wins and 1 loss with a 3.25 ERA. Murphy hurled 27.2 innings and totaled 18 strikeouts.
He will get his trophy at the SION Baseball Writers awards banquet this weekend.
