What a performance by Burt Brandt of the Summit Park Celtics! The first baseman really tore up Sub League 2 pitching and easily claimed the Player of the Week Award.
The 25-year-old hit .737 with no home runs and 4 RBIs. For the week he was 14-19 and scored 10 runs.
This season Brandt has hit at a .289 clip and produced 24 RBIs, 3 home runs and 33 runs scored.

 | Monday, May 19th, 2025: Welch Takes This Week's Trophy
Like a battering ram, John Welch hit the baseball with brutal efficiency last week, gaining himself the Sub League 2 Player of the Week title for that stretch.
The Summit Park Celtics left fielder rapped out a .536 average with 15 hits in 28 at-bats, 1 home run, 5 RBIs and 10 runs scored.
This year Welch is batting .335 with 4 home runs.

| Tuesday, April 1st, 2025: Nothing Doing for Catsharks, Shutout by Evans
Lawrence Evans had an impressive outing today. He hurled the Summit Park Celtics to a 4-0 shutout victory over the Cordaville Catsharks, yielding 5 hits with 3 strikeouts and 1 walk.
"He threw strikes and he was always around the plate," the Cordaville skipper said. "The ball was doing everything he wanted it to do. We hit some balls hard, but they were all right at the fielders."
