| Breaking News |  | Saturday, September 20th, 2025: Birmingham's Waters Wins SL2 Outstanding Hitter Award
The Attackers second baseman Danny Waters was at the top of the heap in the Sub League 2 this season and today he nabbed the Outstanding Hitter Award.
In 2025 he rang up 152 hits, 38 doubles, 4 triples, 11 home runs, 96 RBIs and 83 runs scored. All that helped him to build his .336 batting average and .409 on-base percentage.
This weekend the SBWA will host its annual awards dinner and all of the major winners will be there to receive their trophies for their outstanding achievements this past season.

The Sub League 1 Outstanding Hitter Award has been selected for 2025 and the award went to the standout Ashland left fielder Will Gray.
He starred this season with a .332 batting average, 135 hits, 23 home runs, 76 RBIs, .425 OBP and 79 runs scored.
This weekend the SBWA will host its annual awards dinner, and all of the major winners will be there to receive their trophies for their outstanding achievements this past season.

 | Friday, September 19th, 2025: Sanders Takes SL2 Outstanding Pitcher Award
Danny Sanders is the latest Sub League 2 Outstanding Pitcher Award winner. The Lubbock starter really shined on the hill time and again and finished up 2025 with a sparkling 13-3 record.
In 24 starts, he fanned 96, walked 37 in 161 innings and posted a 2.85 ERA. Sanders held opposing hitters to a .248 batting average, when he was on the mound.
All of the award-winning players will be honored this weekend at the SBWA annual awards dinner.
