Tony Dorame of the Birmingham Recoil is the Sub League 1 Pitcher of the Month.
In June he sparkled and shined on the mound with 5 wins and no losses in 6 starts.
Dorame checked opposing batters on 25 base hits and a .154 batting average. He rang up 44 strikeouts in 47.1 innings of work, surrendered 11 walks and fashioned a 0.76 ERA.
Season-to-date Dorame has rung up 7 wins and 1 loss in 12 appearances. He has an ERA of 2.35 and has fanned 88 batters in 84.1 innings.

| Monday, June 23rd, 2025: Tony Dorame Blanks Harrison
Birmingham rode the magical arm of Tony Dorame in a 14-0 shutout win over Harrison. He shackled them on 3 hits and fanned 8. Almost to a man, the Harrison Red Warriors said he had them guessing wrong all game long.
Thus far this season, Dorame has worked 77.2 innings with 83 strikeouts en route to a 7-1 record and a 2.43 ERA.

| Thursday, June 19th, 2025: Dorame Pitches Birmingham to Shutout Victory
"He was too darn good for us today," grumbled the Saint Petersburg manager after his club suffered a 10-0 shutout at the hands of Tony Dorame of the Birmingham Recoil. He held the Saint Petersburg Warthogs scoreless in a 4-hit whitewash.
Dorame was in a zone of his own most of the game and finished with 8 strikeouts and 3 walks in a strong outing.
In a postgame quote his own skipper added, "He pitched his butt off, had good velocity, good movement and had those guys off balance. Tony did a whale of a pitching job."
In 10 starts this year Dorame has crafted a 6-1 record and a 2.75 ERA.
