| Breaking News |  | Monday, July 7th, 2025: SL1 Names Red Warriors Left Fielder Winner According to the voters, Claudio Souza of the Harrison Red Warriors had the best week of all Sub League 1 hitters as he was named this week's Player of the Week.
The left fielder's accomplishments include 14 hits in 28 at-bats, a .500 batting average, 2 home runs, 13 RBIs and 9 runs scored.
For the year Souza is batting .340 with 107 hits and 10 home runs. He has scored 66 times and driven in 49. |  | Saturday, July 5th, 2025: Souza 5-7 for Red Warriors "It was almost like batting practice. I saw the ball very well and could just about hit it anywhere I wanted." That's what Harrison left fielder Claudio Souza said to SION reporters after his fantastic 5-7 day against the Riverside Belugas at Red Warriors Stadium. "I got some good counts and used the whole field."
The Red Warriors had a good day, too, and won the ballgame 21-4.
C. Souza struck out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th, struck out in the 8th and hit a GRAND SLAM off G. Brewster in the 9th.
A look at his 2025 stats shows Souza with a .341 average, 10 home runs, 49 RBIs and 66 runs scored. He has played in 81 games. |  | Monday, June 23rd, 2025: Tony Dorame Blanks Harrison Birmingham rode the magical arm of Tony Dorame in a 14-0 shutout win over Harrison. He shackled them on 3 hits and fanned 8. Almost to a man, the Harrison Red Warriors said he had them guessing wrong all game long.
