It happened at Louisville Grounds when Ken Gordon of Louisville scattered 5 hits all over the ballpark against the Warminster Heights Indians.
He walloped 5 hits in 6 at-bats in his career-day performance to help the Huns get by the Indians 9-8.
In a talkative and jovial mood after the game, the shortstop of the Huns exclaimed, "Whoa, my swing was really, really there today. I made some good, sweet-spot contact and when that happens...good things happen...like 5-6. I could get used to a lot of days like this one."
K. Gordon singled in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 8th, hit an RBI single in the 9th and singled in the 11th.

But Stanley Greene did just that today for the Czars and gave his batting average a healthy boost and sparked his club in the win.
"I felt real good in the batter's box today. I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done," the 20-year-old left fielder said after his record-setting performance.
S. Greene singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 7th, grounded out in the 8th and hit a three-run home run off S. Garza in the 9th.

The Akron center fielder stepped into the batter's box 7 times against the Warminster Heights and delivered 6 hits.
It was a sensational game for him. He excitedly told the press, "Unbelieveable feeling. Unbelieveable. It felt good. It felt great. What a day! 6 for 7! It does wonders for your batting average, too."
C. O'Reilly flied out in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit a two-run single in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and hit a GRAND SLAM off S. Garza in the 9th.
