Instead McCoy showed he knew how best to hit them as he easily handled Bravery pitching, going 5 for 6 and helping the Attackers to a 17-12 triumph at Ballpark of Birmingham.
He told SION reporters in the postgame interview, "The way I was swinging today, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball."
The Hedwig Village skipper quipped, "Well, the next time we may just do that...blindfold him...and then pitch him differently, just to be sure."
J. McCoy singled in the 2nd, hit a two-run single in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 5th, doubled in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off G. Ortega in the 7th and struck out in the 8th.
