| Breaking News |  | Friday, October 31st, 2025: Orioles Triumph in 2025 World Series Nobody played better baseball this season than the Major League Baseball champions, the Baltimore Orioles.
They defeated the Colorado Rockies 5-2 today at Oriole Park at Camden Yards and hauled in the World Series trophy for the 1st time in their history.
In regular season play, Baltimore chalked up a 93-69 record and wound up first in the American Eastern Division. |  | Thursday, October 30th, 2025: Baltimore Blanks Rockies Roberto Ramírez of Baltimore easily handled the Colorado Rockies, stopping them on 2 hits and chucking a complete game 11-0 shutout.
"He really did a job on us," said the Colorado manager. "He had good command of his pitches. He changed speeds well and pretty much confused us. We never could zero in on him, but he certainly zeroed in on us."
Ramírez said, "Everything was working for me. Throwing my breaking stuff over the plate was big."
He finished the game with 5 strikeouts and 3 walks in a solid outing.
His record this year is 12-7 in 29 starts and Ramírez has a 4.97 ERA. |  | Tuesday, October 21st, 2025: Rockies José González Injured: Day-to-Day Rockies reliever José González was injured while throwing a pitch yesterday against the Cincinnati Reds. It was diagnosed as a a finger blister. He is not expected to miss too much action and will be listed as day-to-day. Team doctors said it could be as long as 1-2 weeks before Colorado standout player returns to the lineup.
This year González has chalked up a 4.49 ERA with no saves.
