| Breaking News |  | Thursday, December 11th, 2025: Jones and Kershaw Swapped Officials for the Arizona Diamondbacks confirmed that they have traded 25-year old first baseman Mark Jones to the New York Yankees. In return, the Diamondbacks will receive 36-year old starting pitcher Clayton Kershaw, 18-year old minor league left fielder Tim Hart and $2,178,400 in cash.
Jones is batting .333 lifetime with 393 hits, 79 doubles, 6 triples, 84 home runs, 242 RBIs to date. He has also scored 235 runs.
On his lifetime ledger sheet, the 36-year-old Kershaw has won 173 and lost 169 with a 4.29 ERA. |  | Tuesday, November 25th, 2025: Detroit Trades Hall to Arizona for Womack A trade between the Detroit Tigers and the Arizona Diamondbacks was made official this morning. The Detroit Tigers have sent 27-year old center fielder Matt Hall to the Arizona Diamondbacks in exchange for 27-year old right fielder Ray Womack.
In 617 career games, Hall has put up a .288 average, collected 150 doubles, 23 triples, 44 home runs, driven in 330 runs and scored 322 times.
Over his career Womack is batting .232 with 30 doubles, 2 triples, 25 home runs, 88 RBIs and scored 85 runs in 411 games. |  | Thursday, November 13th, 2025: National #1 Rookie Named The NL's best rookie will be honored this weekend at the annual SBWA awards dinner. The 2025 honoree is Rudy Watson, catcher of the Arizona Diamondbacks.
In his debut season he piled up some good stats, hitting .319, batting in 105 runs and scoring 93 times, while playing in 127 games. The 23-year-old newcomer also had 36 doubles, 1 triple and 29 home runs.
