| | Wednesday, July 30th, 2025: Warrick 5-6 Against Bandits "It was like I was hitting little league pitching," said Charlie Warrick after his 5-hit performance against the Bandits. "No offense meant to Shreveport, but I could see the ball that well. But this wasn't a kid league park, it was Kittyhawks Ballpark!"
The Sweet Home first baseman had a fantastic day at the plate, knocking out 5 hits in 6 at-bats and pacing his club to a 15-6 victory.
His manager elaborated after the game to the press, saying, "Charlie worked the entire offseason on trying to shorten his swing and stay inside the ball and the hard work is paying off in base hits."
"That's what I'm trying to do," Warrick said. "Be quick to the ball and let it travel a little farther so I get a better look at it."
C. Warrick singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, flied out in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
This year Warrick has hit at a .271 clip with 58 RBIs, 7 home runs and 73 runs scored. | | Tuesday, July 15th, 2025: Patterson Sizzles! Smokes Bandits for 5 Hits! 5 times is a charm -- at least in the world of baseball. When a player gets 5 or more hits in a game, he is honored in the record book and the latest honoree is Everett Patterson of the Bakersfield Madcaps.
He tore up the Shreveport Bandits to the tune of 5 hits in 5 at-bats in the Bakersfield 8-2 win today at Madcaps Ballpark.
"Patterson was a tough out today," the Shreveport manager said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure."
E. Patterson singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run double in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
Thus far this season in 13 games Patterson is batting .319 with no home runs, 8 RBIs and 5 runs scored. He has 15 hits in 47 at-bats. | | | | Team Information | | Record overall | 67-53, .558 PCT | | Position in Division | 2nd, 10.0 GB | | Record at home | 33-27, .550 PCT | | Record on the road | 34-26, .567 PCT | | Record in X-inning games | 6-8, .429 PCT | | Record in one-run games | 14-14, .500 PCT | | Record versus LHP | 18-11, .621 PCT | | Record versus RHP | 49-42, .538 PCT | | Record last 10 games | 6-4, .600 PCT | | Record in April | 22-6, .786 PCT | | Record in May | 15-14, .517 PCT | | Record in June | 14-11, .560 PCT | | Record in July | 10-19, .345 PCT | | Record in August | 6-3, .667 PCT |
