| Breaking News |  | Wednesday, September 17th, 2025: SL2's #1 Hitter for 2025 Named
The Sub League 2 Outstanding Hitter Award has been picked for 2025 and the honor goes to the Birmingham Attackers hitting machine, Patrick Bell.
This season he compiled a .376 batting average with 112 hits, 34 doubles, 4 triples and 10 home runs, along with 63 RBIs and 73 runs scored.
For being named the SL2's best batter Bell will be honored at the SION Baseball Writers awards banquet this weekend.

Wilber Delgado of the Anaheim Pugs had a season to remember this year.
Today was named the SL1's Outstanding Hitter Award for 2025.
The 20-year-old center fielder put up a .320 average and .386 on-base percentage, piling up 132 hits, 24 doubles, 9 triples, 20 home runs, 111 RBIs and 92 runs scored.
For being named the SL1's best batter Delgado will be honored this weekend at the annual SION Baseball Writers awards banquet.

 | Tuesday, September 16th, 2025: Rosebud Hurler Tops in Outstanding Pitcher Award Voting
He was the top pitcher this season, according to the SION voters.
Corey Buckner of the Rosebud Fever outdid his pitching peers this year and has been honored with the 2025 Sub League 2 Outstanding Pitcher Award.
During his remarkable year Buckner posted a 17-5 record in 26 starts. In 166 innings he yielded 157 hits and 44 walks while striking out 95 and compiling a fine 3.36 ERA.
For his fine season the SION Baseball Writers Association will present him his trophy this weekend at its annual awards dinner.
