According to the voters, Steve Dennis of the Fremont Sky Hawks had the best week of all Sub League 2 hitters as he was named this week's Player of the Week.
The first baseman's accomplishments include 14 hits in 27 at-bats, a .519 batting average, 1 home run, 6 RBIs and 5 runs scored.
Dennis is batting .351 in 2025 with 5 home runs, 76 RBIs and 48 runs scored. He has 107 hits in 305 at-bats.

| Saturday, July 26th, 2025: Kessler Whitewashes Minster
In an impressive mound performance, Rickey Kessler of the Fremont Sky Hawks checked the Minster Kingfishers on a 5-hitter and held them scoreless.
"He was getting ahead of us and keeping the ball off the plate," according to the Minster manager.
"Kessler kept us confused the whole game."
The Fremont hurler rang up no strikeouts and issued 2 walks in his 6-0 shutout victory.
This season Kessler has worked 84.1 innings with 42 strikeouts en route to a 5-1 record and a 6.19 ERA.

Next time the Sky Hawks might think twice about pitching to Steven Green. Today at Showstoppers Stadium the East Hampton left fielder really burned Fremont pitching, going 5-for-5 in the Showstoppers 29-2 triumph.
"When he's seeing the ball well," his skipper told reporters, "he can probably stroke a base hit blindfolded."
In 2025 Green is hitting .318, batted in 35 runs with 4 home runs and 49 runs scored.
