History in the making. That's what the fans at Cosmos Ballpark got to see today, when Bayonne outplayed the Blasters 12-5. Bill Goodwin of the Cosmos came to the plate 6 times and came away with a dynamite day as he exploded for 5 hits against Madison.
In the postgame press conference the Madison skipper quipped to reporters, "Hey, we tried to get him out. We threw everything but the kitchen sink against him and he hit it. Maybe we should've thrown the kitchen sink."
B. Goodwin singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit a GRAND SLAM off K. Yamamoto in the 8th and flied out in the 9th.

| Tuesday, May 14th, 2024: Rojas Batters Phoenixville Big Time!
"It was almost like batting practice. I saw the ball very well and could just about hit it anywhere I wanted." That's what Bayonne first baseman José Rojas said to SION reporters after his fantastic 5-6 day against the Phoenixville Atomics at Cosmos Ballpark. "I got some good counts and used the whole field."
The Cosmos had a good day, too, and won the ballgame 14-5.
J. Rojas singled in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off C. Maiden in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
Rojas is hitting .352 this year with 4 home runs and 26 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .408, 16 walks and scored 35 times.
