Saturday, May 31st, 2025: Marmolejo Tags Resistance 5 Hits
Júlio Marmolejo told the press after his 5-hit day, "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate. He wants to hit the ball hard."

Well, that's just what Marmolejo of the Seminole Hailstorm did against the Maxton Resistance. He went to the plate 5 times and 5 times he delivered base hits, much to the chagrin of the Resistance, who suffered a 9-4 defeat.

"Not much that I can say," offered the losing manager, "he just hammered the heck out of us."

J. Marmolejo singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.

Tuesday, April 1st, 2025: Arrington at His Best, Blanks Maxton
Millard Arrington of the Fairway Diggers was firing on all cylinders against the Maxton Resistance. He blanked them 3-0 on 3 hits and posted 3 strikeouts and no walks.

Tuesday, June 4th, 2024: McGee 5-7 for Sea Devils
Today the Sea Devils downed the Resistance 18-10 as John McGee sprayed hits all over Sea Devils Ballpark in a 5-hit explosion, finishing up with 5 hits in 7 at-bats.

The Carrollton center fielder said to SION reporters in the postgame interview, "It makes it easier if you get a good pitch. The odds are in your favor then, not the pitcher's. I got a bunch of very pretty pitches to hit today, and I didn't miss any of them."
