Luke Koch of the Uniontown Ravishers really strutted his stuff on the mound today with a 3-0 victory. He was almost untouchable, bewildering the Austin Howitzers with a 2-hit shutout in which he struck out 2 and gave up 1 walk.

 | Friday, May 16th, 2025: Parsons On Fire! 5-5 for Austin!
"It was almost like batting practice. I saw the ball very well and could just about hit it anywhere I wanted." That's what Austin left fielder Ron Parsons said to SION reporters after his fantastic 5-5 day against the Seminole Hailstorm at Howitzers Stadium. "I got some good counts and used the whole field."
The Howitzers had a good day, too, and won the ballgame 5-3.
R. Parsons singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off J. Lindstrom in the 8th.
Currently Parsons has 1 home run and a .229 batting average.

 | Monday, May 12th, 2025: Barrage of Hits Gets Clark SL1 Award
All week long nobody could get Max Clark out in the Sub League 1 and that is the prime reason he was voted the Player of the Week.
The Austin second baseman took home the trophy by blasting 14 hits in 25 at-bats for a .560 batting average, driving in 14 runs and scoring 7 times.
In 32 games this season Clark is batting .364 with 43 hits and no home runs. He has scored 26 runs and driven in 31.
