He was almost untouchable, baffling them on a 2-hit shutout with 4 strikeouts and 2 walks.
"I'm sweating now because it's hot in here," Abadee said in the clubhouse after the game. "But it didn't even feel like I was sweating out there."
One of his teammates said it was easy to play behind him today. "It was like he's just playing with the hitters and doing whatever he wanted to do."

Only a handful of players will do that. Get 5 hits in a game and you get your moment of glory...your 5 minutes of fame...you get your name in the record book.
In the Dragoons 8-5 win over Waconia, José Roldán was red-hot today, scorching them for hit after hit at Chesapeake Grounds.
"To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax. I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I must admit, I got too much adrenaline going when I realized that this was a special once-in-a-lifetime chance for the record book. On the last hit, I was ready to swing at anything close, I was that excited. That's why my third base coach called time and told me, 'Calm down and wait for a good pitch.' That got me back on track and I nailed the first one in the strike zone."
On his record-setting day Roldán delivered 5 hits in 6 at-bats, a day he will not soon forget.
J. Roldán flied out in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th, hit an RBI single in the 9th and hit a three-run home run off N. Etheridge in the 10th.
Looking at his stats this year, Roldán has compiled a .313 batting average, while hitting 3 home runs and driving in 32 runs. He has played in 66 games and scored 29 runs. | | | Injuries | | Player | Injury | Out for... | Disabled List Status | | P Juan Robles | back spasms | 6 weeks | Not on DL | | | Team Information | | Record overall | 65-65, .500 PCT | | Position in Division | 2nd, 15.0 GB | | Record at home | 34-31, .523 PCT | | Record on the road | 31-34, .477 PCT | | Record in X-inning games | 6-2, .750 PCT | | Record in one-run games | 24-14, .632 PCT | | Record versus LHP | 14-18, .438 PCT | | Record versus RHP | 51-47, .520 PCT | | Record last 10 games | 5-5, .500 PCT | | Record in April | 14-14, .500 PCT | | Record in May | 14-15, .483 PCT | | Record in June | 13-13, .500 PCT | | Record in July | 15-13, .536 PCT | | Record in August | 9-10, .474 PCT |
