| Sunday, November 2nd, 2025: Haze Accepts the Challenge to Make Dazzle the Best! Jenna Haze met with reporters as he began his tenure as Baton Rouge Dazzle general manager.
"To be frank," he admitted, "I expect a tough haul these first few months. I've got to assess this club from the ground up--the whole organization. Until I do that, this club is very vulnerable."
Haze urged the media to have restraint, saying that it will take time to implement his strategy and develop a perennial winner. | | Tuesday, September 30th, 2025: Marricio Selected SL2's #1 Batter The top batter in the Sub League 2 in 2025 was Buffalo right fielder Miguel Marricio. For his standout play, he was voted the Outstanding Hitter Award.
Marricio starred this season with a .322 batting average, 157 hits, 30 home runs, 120 RBIs, .358 OBP and 97 runs scored.
This weekend the SBWA will host its annual awards dinner, and all of the major winners will be there to receive their trophies for their outstanding achievements this past season. | | Tuesday, September 30th, 2025: William Ellis Chosen SL1's Best Hitter William Ellis slapped, slashed and slugged the baseball all over Sub League 1 ballparks to pull in a majority of the votes for the Outstanding Hitter Award for 2025.
The left fielder for Kansas City put up a .363 average as he pounded out 148 hits, 38 doubles, 1 triple, 7 home runs, 73 RBIs and scored 56 runs.
For being named the SL1's best batter Ellis will be honored at the SION Baseball Writers awards banquet this weekend. | |
