| Breaking News | | Monday, August 18th, 2025: SL1 Player of the Week Awarded This week's top performer in the Sub League 1 was first baseman Ernest Walters of the Paradise Golden Grizzlies.
He pounded out a .462 average and was voted the Player of the Week. Over the last week Walters connected for 12 hits in 26 at-bats and no home runs, drove in 6 runs and scored 2 times.
This year Walters has hit at a .300 clip with 63 RBIs, 6 home runs and 68 runs scored. | | Saturday, July 19th, 2025: Jefferson Records Shutout Against Paradise Tyrone Jefferson of the Morris Crabbers shut out the Paradise Golden Grizzlies 5-0, stopped them on 5 hits and had 8 strikeouts and 1 walk in a strong outing.
After the game his manager said, "He just came out and was on the attack from the first pitch he threw. When Tyrone stays ahead in the count, he does well. That's the key."
In 20 starts this year Jefferson has posted 6 wins while suffering 12 losses. He has pitched 98.1 innings, allowed 124 hits, struck out 79 and has a 6.22 ERA. | | Wednesday, June 11th, 2025: Hall 5-5 for Paradise Brendon Hall exploded for a barrage of base hits today at Golden Grizzlies Stadium. The Paradise left fielder had a field day in the 11-5 triumph over the Anchorage Misfits, finishing up with a 5-5 day and a spot in the league record book.
"My hitting philosophy is pretty simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch."
Well, Hall must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too. It was one of his best days ever with the bat.
B. Hall doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off F. Castellanos in the 8th.
So far in 2025, Hall is batting .333 with 3 home runs and 13 RBIs. | | | | Team Information | | Record overall | 63-67, .485 PCT | | Position in Division | 4th, 4.0 GB | | Record at home | 31-34, .477 PCT | | Record on the road | 32-33, .492 PCT | | Record in X-inning games | 1-6, .143 PCT | | Record in one-run games | 20-10, .667 PCT | | Record versus LHP | 16-14, .533 PCT | | Record versus RHP | 47-53, .470 PCT | | Record last 10 games | 6-4, .600 PCT | | Record in April | 11-17, .393 PCT | | Record in May | 14-15, .483 PCT | | Record in June | 17-9, .654 PCT | | Record in July | 14-14, .500 PCT | | Record in August | 7-12, .368 PCT |
