The Scottsdale right fielder said to SION reporters in the postgame interview, "It makes it easier if you get a good pitch. The odds are in your favor then, not the pitcher's. I got a bunch of very pretty pitches to hit today, and I didn't miss any of them."
M. Luna hit a three-run home run off L. Allen in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off K. Morse in the 8th.
Looking at his 2025 season stats, Luna has compiled a .301 batting average in 20 games with a .400 on-base percentage, while hitting 5 home runs and driving in 15 runs. |  | Thursday, June 12th, 2025: Rochester Reliever Injured A blow for Harvey Allen today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 10-11 months with a torn tricep muscle. Allen suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Rochester Shooting Stars are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Allen's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature.
So far this season, Allen has compiled a 2-4 won-lost mark with 2 saves and a 3.92 ERA.
