| Breaking News |  | Friday, July 25th, 2025: Nakao 6-7 Against Scottsdale It was a sensational day at the plate for Hidetsugu Nakao as he led the charge to a 17-4 win over the Flash.
The Arlington left fielder was pure misery for the Scottsdale pitching staff. He left them shellshocked with 6 hits in 7 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting.
The manager for the Flash told SION reporters after the game, "Nakao put the ball into play. He really hit it hard. When you do that, you've got a pretty good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some pretty good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball."
H. Nakao singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, struck out in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
This year Nakao is batting .273 with no home runs and 24 RBIs. In 84 games he has scored 30 times. |  | Monday, July 7th, 2025: Frost Hittin' on all Cylinders! Hits Cycle! Getting 4 hits in a game is a pretty good feat, but when those 4 hits include a single, double, triple and a home run all in one game -- that makes it extra special. The Aurora third baseman did just that, hitting for the cycle and sparking the Blue Bombers to a 11-10 victory over the Flash at Field of the Blue Bombers.
The elated Frost told reporters, "Winning is the name of the game...and hitting a cycle puts a little icing on it."
The 4-5 day was also good for his batting average as he saw it rise up to .800. In addition, Frost had 5 runs batted in and 3 runs scored.
N. Frost hit a three-run home run off J. Mena in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 4th, tripled in the 6th and struck out in the 8th.
In 2025, Frost is hitting .278 with 10 home runs and 58 RBIs in 84 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .370 with 48 walks and 51 runs scored. |  | Monday, July 7th, 2025: Sub League 2 Names #1 Player Scottsdale fans had a lot to cheer about this week as right fielder Máximo Luna brought home the Sub League 2 Player of the Week trophy.
During his week-long batting binge he reeled off a .464 batting average, 13 hits and 3 home runs. Luna also racked up 8 RBIs and scored 6 runs.
