First he went on an exceptional week-long batting spree, bashing the ball at a .500 clip, then the Southgate third baseman finds outs he has been chosen the league's best performer and gets the SL2 Player of the Week Award.
He told SION reporters in the postgame, "It was a great week for me. I could see the ball so well. Plus some of the balls seemed to have good eyes, too."
For the week Rosales batted .500 (14-28) with 1 home run and 14 RBIs.

Great Barrington's José Rodríguez had a very special day against the Sea Hawks when everything came together for him and he did just that -- collected 5 hits in 6 at-bats -- and led the Great Barrington Missionaries to a 15-13 win at Missionaries Stadium.
"I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Rodríguez said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em."
J. Rodríguez hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, flied out in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off D. Timberlake in the 9th.
Rodríguez currently has a .374 batting average with 61 hits, 4 homers, 36 RBIs, 29 runs scored and a .438 OBP. |  | Sunday, May 4th, 2025: Pride García Smacks 5 Hits! The Pride were defeated 16-8 today at Ballpark of Stockton by the Sea Hawks, but you can't say César García didn't give it his best try. The Pride shortstop came to the plate 5 times and collected 5 hits. It was a good day for García and a tough day for Stockton.
"I just go up there and swing away and hope it hits the barrel of the bat," he said. "There really isn't any plan."
No plan or not, García delivered today...5-5 is outstanding in any league.
