| Breaking News |  | Thursday, December 18th, 2025: Atlanta and Toronto Agree to Deal The rumor has been going on for a while now, but today it was made official. The Atlanta Braves sent 25-year old center fielder Jimmy Ross to the Toronto Blue Jays for 29-year old starting pitcher Bob Terry.
Officials from both teams seem to be pleased with the deal.
In his career Ross has played in 440 games with a .239 batting average. Among his 321 hits are 79 doubles, 25 triples, and 36 home runs. He also has scored 213 runs, walked 166 times, stolen 57 bases and driven in 158 runs.
In career stats, the 29-year-old Terry has won 70 and lost 65, recording 903 strikeouts and 464 walks in 1212 innings with a 4.69 ERA. Opponents have hit .258 against him. |  | Sunday, November 30th, 2025: Rumors Are Flying in Toronto Toronto stopped short of confirming a deal between the Blue Jays and Felix Hernandez today, but indicated that the two sides were working on an agreement.
No financial terms were specified, though the deal is rumored to be 2 years in length.
|  | Sunday, October 12th, 2025: Ladner Fires Shutout in Chicago Victory Today at U.S. Cellular Field Matt Ladner baffled Toronto batters on 1 hit en route to a 7-0 shutout.
"He was able to keep hitters off balance and got the ball down," said the White Sox skipper about his starter's performance.
Ladner had 13 strikeouts and 2 walks in the game.
